Abstract

Physalis peruviana L. is an important medicinal plant of the Solanaceae family. To investigate the effect of fertilizer nutrition on the morphophysiological traits of Physalis peruviana, a field experiment with eight treatments and three replications was conducted in a randomized complete block design in the field. The treatments included: control (no fertilizer), NPK chemical fertilizer, nano-biomic fertilizer, Fulzyme Plus SP biofertilizer, chemical fertilizer + Fulzyme biofertilizer, nano-biomic fertilizer + Fulzyme biofertilizer, chemical fertilizer + nano-biomic fertilizer, and chemical fertilizer + nano-biomic fertilizer + Fulzyme biofertilizer. The results showed that the highest number of leaves, fresh and dry weight of shoots, weight and number of fruits, chlorophyll b, and vitamin C were obtained in the combined treatment of the three fertilizer combinations, which were significantly different from the control and other treatments. In general, the combined use of biofertilizers, nanofertilizers, and chemical fertilizers in combination at the right time, in addition to soil fertility, helps protect the environment and produce higher yields than when they are used alone.
